Pssst…the Rumours are true. This isn’t a tribute — it’s a Detention Club homage to the legendary band Fleetwood Mac and the album we all know and love. We’re diving into Rumours, with a few other epic classics added to the pot. There isn’t one Stevie. There isn’t one Christine. For one night, we all get to be a little of both. Don’t stop - run and reserve a seat. We make loving fun - and Detention. Dreams will be had after this one, so go your own way — just make sure it leads here. Trust us, you don’t want to hear this as second-hand news.
Youth $20, Cabaret Table Seating $44, Tiered Seating $34. All tickets subject to service fees and taxes.
It’s a bunch of Hocus Pocus…until it’s not. Led by Captain Caitlin and her roving band of Music Makers, The Detention Club is a shape-shifting musical collective where the lineup rotates, but the mischief remains. Expect riffs to rattle your bones, harmonies to spook the soul and enough rhythm to keep your heart racing—perhaps even some haunting organ to stir the dearly departed beneath us. This All Hallows’ Fling will feature classic Halloween hits you know and love, sprinkled with a few curious Detention finds, costumes, surprises and plenty of musical misbehaviour. Costumes are mandatory—or frightfully encouraged. Tickets are $30, spots are limited and fun will be maxed out. Report to the Old Church Theatre on October 31st at 7 PM.
Tickets are $30 + $1.50 service fee.
If you’re into what we’re doing and want to help keep it alive, this is the spot. Every bit goes back into the music, the shows, and the chaos. We appreciate every bit of support.

“Put a Little Love in Your Heart” — live from Market Hall Performing Arts Centre.
One of those songs that reminds us we’re all in this together… and that crowd participation is part of every Detention sentence.
An homage to Fleetwood Mac — “Say You Love Me,” recorded at Market Hall Performing Arts Centre.
A little harmony, a little mischief, and a whole lot of love for the music that shaped us.
The Detention Club is a high-energy, genre-blurring band of musical misfits delivering unforgettable shows across Ontario and beyond. With a lineup that flexes from stripped-down solo sets to full-blown 9-piece chaos, every performance is its own kind of riot — rhythm-heavy, vocally rich, and rooted in serious musical chops.
While the band doesn’t take itself too seriously, the music is no joke. Expect tight arrangements, wild moments, and a sound that draws from retro rock, folk grit, and kitchen-party spirit. No two shows are exactly the same — and that’s the point.
Perfect for festivals, concert series, and venues that want talent, energy, and just enough trouble to keep things interesting.
“Most triumphant! These musicians shred with such excellent power, even So-Crates himself would call it a righteous experience.”
— Bill S. Preston, Esq.
“Whoa… their high-energy sound blasts you like the gnarliest power chord ever invented, dude. It’s so epic it practically high-fives your soul. Totally, totally unforgettable.”
— Ted "Theodore" Logan
Q: Why “The Detention Club”?
-because “the responsible, quiet, well-behaved ensemble” didn't test well……and john Hughes.
Q: What kind of music is this?
-It’s a retro-folky-kitchen-party-rock-n-roll-fever-dream with too many drummers and too much fun. You kind of have to see it to believe it.
Q: Is there really a dress code for Detention?
-Just bring your dancing shoes. Or your steel-toe boots. We don’t judge, but we do stomp.
Q: Who’s in the Club?
-Depends who got caught this week. The lineup rotates, but Club President Caitlin O’Connor is always present and accounted for. Different combinations, same Detention sentence.
Q: Can We Sing Along?
-Strongly encouraged. crowd participation is part of the sentence.
Q: Are you a cover band?
- We prefer the term “musically unpredictable.” Originals, reimagined classics, deep cuts, and songs that deserve another spin around the classroom.
Q: what events do you play at?
- Festivals, Theatres, Weddings, Community Events, Coporate Parties, and questionable dance floors. if people are gathering, we're interested.
q: Will there be merch?
-absolutely. Shirts, tanks, stickers, and other official detention materials available at shows and right here on the website.
